What do goats eat?

Contrary to popular belief, goats do not eat everything. However, they do love to eat poison ivy, kudzu, english ivy, wisteria, and other invasive species. Goats can remove unwanted vegetation and reduce fire hazards without harmful chemicals or destructive, gasoline-powered machinery. Each of our goats eat about 8 pounds a day. Square footage is not the easiest method used to make an estimate. Other factors may impact the land that you want cleared. Density and type of vegetation are also important. The best way for us to estimate how much the goats can eat is to come to the property in question and tell you.

Can I afford Rent-a-Goat?

Our goats are all up to date on vaccinations, dewormer, and all necessary medical care. They are transported via a roomy trailer and are guarded by one of our “goat wranglers” during their stay. They work from the hours of 9-5 and are brought back home in the evening for their safety. Prices are competitive with commercial landscaping services.
